The innovative minds at Cybergun took upon themselves to come up with a high powered LMG that weighs only about 50% of what its’ full metal counterpart weighs. Constructed from a durable nylon fiber reinforced polymer receiver with a full metal barrel assembly, the M249 “Featherweight” is easily manageable during long skirmishes and durable against the harsh elements of airsoft warfare. This LMG comes with a 300 round standard sized M4 magazine, but is also compatible with A&K style box magazine to keep you in the fight all day. 20mm picatinny rail sections along the top of the rifle and sides of the handguard provide ample space for tactical accessories including optic sights and foregrips. 

To match the rugged externals, Cybergun outfitted this M249 with an upgraded Version 2 motor. This next-level gearbox features a full metal gearbox shell, 8mm bushings, sintered steel 20:1 gear set, aluminum cylinder, high compression polycarbonate piston head & cylinder head, polycarbonate lightweight nozzle, and a quick-change spring guide. Cybergun has included an adjustable lightweight stock and retractable bipod with the M249 to assist players in keeping the rifle stable when in a stationary position. The metal flash hider at the end of the barrel is removable to uncover 14mm barrel threads, giving players the option to add a tracer unit or suppressor.  Utilize the adjustable hop-up to account for various BB weight and target range airsoft guns.
