Gamo’s Wildcat Whisper air rifle is a budget-friendly option for shooters who want to take advantage of the company’s IGT pistons. These pistons don’t get affected by the weather like traditional springs do. The Whisper technology also reduces the report’s noise levels by a noticeable amount.
The Whisper sound suppressor is responsible for the barrel’s bulge. The extra space contains baffles that slow down outgoing gasses. By the time the air exits the muzzle, it’s much slower and softer.
The rifle comes with a 4x32 scope that mounts onto the 11mm dovetail rails on top of the receiver. There are no iron sights on this gun, meaning you must rely on the scope or any replacement to hit targets accurately.
You’ll find the rifle light equipment courtesy of the nylon stock. In addition, rubber inserts help prevent slipping as you grip the weapon.
The recoil pad attached to the stock eliminates most of the recoil resulting in your shoulder feeling less of a kick. This lets you shoot for more extended periods without soreness.
