Gamo’s Wildcat Whisper rifle is also available for .22 caliber air rifle pellets. The extra mass is helpful for small game hunting, an area many hunters may find challenging with smaller pellets. The increased stopping power brings down prey easier and is less likely to cause unnecessary suffering.
For accuracy, the Wildcat Whisper is equipped with an 11mm dovetail rail that accepts the included 4x32 scope. Because there are no iron sights, you’ll need to get a close-range scope that fits on the rail to shoot targets close up.
An all-black nylon stock keeps the gun lightweight. Rubber inserts on the grip and forearm area allow for a firm grasp, eliminating slip potential from wet hands.
A polymer jacketed steel rifled barrel is responsible for propelling pellets straight ahead. The jacket is durable and prevents wear and tear for long periods. Even after years of shooting, the rifling will remain intact.
The automatic cocking safety system prevents accidental discharges when cocking the rifle. Because nothing is holding the air in when the gun is broken open, it can be dangerous for the user if you can pull the trigger at any time.
