The KJW M700 Gas Powered Sniper Rifle is a favored platform by many who choose to play the role of sniper. This gun is a huge step in the right direction for KJW as it shoots harder, straighter, and is more reliable than past models. The actions and specifications on this gun are very realistic, closely resembling the real tactical sniper rifles used by SWAT and police forces world-wide. The magazine cannot be released unless the bolt has been pulled back. The hammer resets as soon as the bolt has been pulled up, and the hammer indicator on the back of the bolt is functional for safety purposes. Not only does this rifle perform like the real thing and look fantastic, it’s very functional too. The rear sight is adjustable for wind change and elevation, or you can remove it altogether to make way for a scope to be mounted on the rail beneath it. The front iron sight is also attached to the gun via dovetail mount, and can be removed if needed. There are multiple studs for sling and bipod attachment, allowing you to maneuver and carry this rifle with ease despite its 9 lb. solid heavyweight construction. Unlike traditional spring powered bolt action rifles, the KJW M700 is gas powered which allows the bolt to cycle smoothly and almost effortlessly just like a real bolt action rifle; this allows for quick follow-up shots in target rich environments. An added bonus of this gun being gas powered, this gun features a full length inner barrel which starts closer to the breach compared to spring piston rifles where you lose several inches of barrel length for more complicated internals. Also, the hop-up is adjustable to accommodate for different BB weight and for range accuracy. The longer barrel combined with the higher air volume of this rifle's gas system results in amazing power, range, accuracy, and consistency. The KJW M700 Gas Sniper Rifle is the perfect fit for players looking for a bit more “kick” than the usual spring powered snipers, without having to break the bank.

them a 4 or 5-Star rating.
I find the overall quality subpar, mostly because I’m being extremely picky. I bought this intent on upgrading the daylights out of it before I ever got it. Out of the box it whipped left hard at 20 feet. Upgrades installed it does the exact same thing. Why?... Turned out that the outer barrel wasn’t seated straight-a common KJW issue upon reading. It’s a pain to fix but there are some suggestions on different ways to do so on youtube. The ring that seats the barrel to the action is lopsided just enough to throw it off and it curves the inner barrel. Next issue is the rail. The rail is so obnoxiously crooked (angled from front to back and a little off to one side if that makes sense) it’s not even funny. Enough that I can’t site in my scope and my scope is very visibly crooked when mounted.
The bolt. This is no Kimber, that’s for sure. It’s loose and poorly fitted so you can really jack it around in the action-could be much much more solid/smooth. What gun manufacturers powder coat the bolt of their firearms?... none. Not sure what they were thinking there. It just ads to the scrape. The trigger creeps a little but for an airsoft at least on that I can’t complain.
The stock. The second I put my hand on the grip I wanted to replace it. This is the Fat Albert of gunstocks. Uncomfortably wide.
After all this I still say it’s not a bad buy-ONLY if you don't mind putting money, time, and research into building the perfect sniper. It gets there, trust me. To get it there however, one must plan on treating this like a base on which to build a great gun. Get to know it inside out and learn its quirks, baby it a bit, and it can be the vehicle to a great sniper.”
