The Krytac/Laylax Special Edition Trident MKII SDP is a phenomenal Airsoft AEG rifle. It boasts extraordinary firepower, customizability, capacity, and maneuverability.
It’s hard to find fault with the materials of the MKII SDP. Like real-life AR weapons, the gun has a robust hand guard with a sleek finish to help you grip the AEG more comfortably. You also get a stamped logo for a realistic Airsoft rifle look.
Customizability might be the most impressive feature of this AEG. For instance, you can easily access the ambidextrous fire selector, allowing you to excel in combat, whether you’re a left-handed or right-handed sharpshooter. Moreover, you get a rotary hop-up with a whopping 15 settings to help you outsmart your opponents.
The manufacturer ships the SDP with an integrated M-LOK hand guard. You can use the hand guard to attach numerous accessories, such as flashlights and lasers.
As for the internals, you’ll hardly find a better gearbox than the one in the Trident. It’s an 8mm model with a built-in MOSFET to keep your trigger contacts safe from overcharge. The addition regulates electronic signals, extending the lifespan of your weapon.
Another great thing about the gearbox is that it has a smooth radius. Unlike most guns with 90-degree angles, the smooth gearbox is less likely to be fractured. There’s even a small opening on your left side that lets you directly lubricate the pistons or gears. The window is also perfect for inspecting and maintaining your system.

The battery and charger are sold separately. You should use this weapon with a 7.4V PEQ-type Li-Po battery and a smart charger (output rating shouldn’t exceed 30 amps).
