The Gen 2 Lancer Tactical AEGs feature a wide array of upgrades to their successful earlier models. By using higher quality parts and materials, these already affordable entry level AEGs are now built to compete with many of the more expensive other brands. By switching from ABS plastic to nylon reinforced polymer the body, grip, and stock have become much more durable while still maintaining being lightweight. The internals got an overhaul as well with upgraded parts such as the gearbox getting full metal teeth pistons, better metal bushings, and a tightbore inner barrel for better range and accuracy. Even the battery and charger got an upgrade and this rifle package now includes a 9.6v battery and smart charger.

Felt, looked, and works great, I had some issues at first but soon realized to prevent the gun from jamming I had to spin the bottom gear of the magazine for probably a minute straight or it would jam nearly every shot. Also the battery goes in the barrel but I just ended up pushing the wiring through a whole in the barrel and taping 3 different batteries on the outside so I can quickly switch them out because putting the battery in and out is a pain. Hope this helps others!
Doesn't work well in cold weather can you do anything to combat the cold temp.s
