FAQs About Airsoft Fields
What is an airsoft field?
An airsoft field is anywhere that is designed and dedicated to playing airsoft. You can find outdoor airsoft fields or indoor airsoft parks, or a combination of the two. Airsoft places often also host paintball games.Â
Why isn't my state listed?
There are two possible reasons why you might not find an airsoft field near you on this list. Firstly, this list is not comprehensive: it may not include some smaller or newly opened airsoft fields. We're constantly updating, so let us know what we’ve missed and we’ll make sure to add them in. Secondly, the legal definition of airsoft guns is not the same in all 50 states, so it might be that airsoft fields are prohibited where you live.Â
This page is only applicable to United States airsoft play. Laws and regulations in other countries may differ.
How much do United States airsoft fields charge?
The cost of playing at airsoft locations varies, but generally falls between $10 to $30 per day. This does not necessarily cover the cost of renting equipment or entry into airsoft tournaments.
What should I look for in an airsoft field?
Choosing between places to play airsoft can be tricky. Sometimes the choice comes down to personal preference, like if you prefer to play outdoors or indoors. Other times you're just looking for the nearest airsoft field to your home. Check out this discussion on Reddit on what makes for the best indoor and outdoor airsoft fields.
You should also always consider safety when selecting your airsoft location. Check what safety regulations are in place and reach out to their referee or game master if possible.
What do I need to play airsoft?
The three essential items for any airsoft player are an airsoft gun, BB pellets, and safety goggles, or some form of face protection. Many regular players prefer to buy these essentials for themselves, but most airsoft parks will have some available to rent.
Do I need to register or book a place?
For regular airsoft games, most players can turn up on the day. If you're renting equipment you may want to call ahead to check they have what you need, especially if you're a large group. Airsoft tournaments, on the other hand, will usually require you to register before the day.
