The red dot sight will also work with laser sights and flashlights mounted to the bottom extended Picatinny rail. These accessories are best for close quarters and situations where you may not have time to aim.
For security, the ambidextrous safety catch and beavertail grip safety are functional. The latter prompts users to hold the gun in a firm grip before shooting is possible. It even overrides the safety catch.
