If you're building a Hi-Capa for competition or just want a cleaner trigger pull, the 5KU Type 7 is one of the straightforward upgrades that actually makes a difference. It replaces the factory trigger with a skeletonized aluminum piece, so you're trading a bit of weight and a lot of the stock plastic feel for something more precise.

What changes. The cutout design reduces mass at the trigger itself, which can help with reset and overall feel. It's CNC machined from aluminum with an anodized finish, so it won't chip under normal use. At 0.02 lbs, you're not going to notice a weight shift in your hand, but the change in trigger geometry is usually noticeable right away.

Fit and compatibility. This is built for Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa platforms — the baseline that most aftermarket Hi-Capa parts reference. If your pistol is based on that architecture, it should fit. The Type 7 designation refers to the trigger shape and cut pattern, not a generation or version number.
