5KU Hot Shot Series Magwell for Marui Hi-Capa GBB Pistols, Silver

A magwell is a one-part upgrade that makes a genuinely annoying task easier: drawing a fresh magazine into the grip under pressure, in the dark, or at the chrono line. The 5KU Hot Shot magwell replaces the Hi-Capa's factory magazine well with a wider, flared aluminum sleeve so the magazine finds the well every time instead of catching on the edge.

Fitment. This is for the Marui Hi-Capa platform — 5-inch, 4.3-inch, and full-size models all use the same well. It drops in for the same reason Hi-Capas have aftermarket support: the shape is well documented, and 5KU machines theirs to tight tolerances. The fit should be snug without shims or files, and if it is, you'll know because the magazine drop-in that follows feels like a different pistol.

What it does. The flared opening increases the acceptance angle by a noticeable margin, which means less pointing and more trusting the mag to find the well. Speed matters if you play on a tighter chrono line or run multiple mag limits. It does not change feeding, cycle time, or anything inside the pistol — it's purely about getting the magazine seated faster.

Material and finish. CNC-machined from aluminum alloy and anodized silver. It's a cosmetic upgrade as much as a functional one, and the finish holds up better than it sounds if you treat it like something you'll touch every game: a quick wipe and a coat of silicone oil every few sessions keeps it clean. Keep it away from solvents and the anodizing will last.

Before you buy. This is the magwell only — no screws, tools, or additional hardware. If your pistol's well is worn or damaged from a previous aftermarket part, a shim may be needed. If you're not comfortable fitting it, a tech can install this in minutes.
