The AMA Neoprene Foam Face Mask is a half mask designed around that problem. The neoprene lining sits between the foam padding and your face, which means it breathes better, wipes down easily, and doesn't get the damp, heavy feeling that plain foam develops partway through a game. You get the impact protection you need without the part that usually makes you take the mask off.

Neoprene is the same material used in wetsuits and cycling gloves—flexible, moisture-managing, and comfortable against bare skin. Paired with the neoprene cover is a cushioned foam layer that absorbs impact. If a BB finds a gap in your goggles or comes in from below, the mask cushions it rather than letting it ring directly against your jaw.
