The AMA High Speed pouch is built on a simple idea: if you carry M4 or M16 mags on your chest, you want them out fast and staying put. It does that through a simple retention system—thread the shock cord through the slots and pull it snug. The mag goes in, the cord grips, and when you grab it you pull free with enough friction that the mag won't rattle loose but not so much that it fights you.
It mounts to any MOLLE-compatible plate carrier or vest using the strap on the back. You can also lash it to a ruck or web gear with shock cord if you want it somewhere else on your loadout. The polymer body keeps weight down at 7.7 oz for the pouch (mag not included), and it's durable enough to survive game day without adding bulk.
Before you buy. This is a single-mag pouch. If you run a three-mag setup on your plate carrier, you'll need three of these. M4 and M16 AEG magazines are universal across brands, so any standard mag fits inside.
