ARES MK.16 Heavy Style 113mm Full Metal Flash Hider, Black

The MK.16 is a full-metal flash hider for 14mm clockwise-threaded barrels — the less common variant used on AK-pattern airsoft guns, certain G36 platforms, and a few other rifles. If your barrel is threaded 14mm CCW (negative, the M4 standard), this won't fit without an adapter.

It's styled after the heavy M16-style flash hider, so it looks like the beefy cylindrical muzzle devices you see on real steel AR-15s with longer barrels. That gives it more presence than a slim flash can or a standard A2-style hider, and the full-metal construction handles the heat and wear better than the plastic versions often bundled with entry-level guns. The 113mm length carries enough visual weight to balance a full-length outer barrel without making the front end look undersized.

What it does. The real purpose is flame reduction and inner-barrel protection — less flash for night games, less hot-gas blowback hitting the gas nozzle, and a metal sleeve shielding your barrel threads from direct heat. It does nothing for velocity or hop-up. It's a realism accessory and a practical upgrade over the polymer flash hiders that come on some budget guns.

Installation is straightforward — it screws on and holds the way any threaded muzzle device does. A hex key or spanner wrench is all you need, and the fit should be snug if your barrel threads are clean and true. If your threads are cross-threaded or worn, no flash hider will seat properly regardless of build quality.
