Most tactical jackets force a choice between weather protection and mobility. The All-Weather Shield soft shell from Cannae tries to stop that trade-off. It's built for airsoft fields where you're moving between cover, outdoor training in shoulder seasons, or any situation where wind and light rain are more likely than a downpour.
The shell is a polyester and spandex blend with a microfiber finish. The outer coating handles wind and resists water, though it's not a waterproof shell for sustained rain. Inside, a breathable liner moves heat away from your body instead of trapping it.
What comes with it. Just the jacket.
This is a mid-layer to outer-layer piece, not a winter coat. If you're playing in temperatures below 40°F or expecting heavy rain, you'll want something heavier or a dedicated rain shell over it. For the typical skirmish season—spring through fall, dry to damp conditions—it does what it says.
