The Mini Vulcan is a full-scale, 6-barrel minigun replica in 6mm airsoft. It's not a subtle piece of kit. It's loud, it's heavy, and when it fires it clears a lane faster than anything else on the field. The Classic Army version is built around a CNC-machined metal alloy body, so it's got the weight and the look of the real thing rather than the hollow feel of a stamped-polymer novelty gun.
How the gun works. Inside is an AEG drive that spins the six barrels and feeds rounds through them at a very high rate of fire. The rate is not precisely rated by the manufacturer, but in practice it's blistering — a magazine of 2200 rounds disappears in a controlled burst or two. The firing mode is full-auto and safe only; there's no semi-automatic option, so every pull of the trigger is a feeding event. It's an electric gun and the spec sheet says no for LiPO, meaning it's designed for NiMH battery. Running a LiPO on a gun without LiPO support is asking for trouble if the sheet says no.
2200 rounds is the number that matters. A minigun without a big supply of ammo is just a paperweight at 20 seconds. The internal magazine holds 2200, and the bundle includes the BBs so there's nothing to source separately. A single burst will eat through most magazines at the field in under a minute. That's the fun. It's also the reason why the 2200 capacity is the single most useful spec on this gun — without it, the concept doesn't work.
What's in the box. This is the battery and charger combo, and it really is complete. You get the gun, the internal-mag-loaded BBs, a battery, a charger, the manual, and a carry bag. You don't need to buy a battery or a charger separately, which saves money and makes this a genuine ready-to-run package.
Externals. The entire receiver is CNC-machined metal alloy, black. The handguard has standard Picatinny rails up top and at the sides for accessories — though accessories aren't included, and at this gun's size and weight most people just let it stand on its own. The 14mm CCW threaded barrel accepts standard airsoft muzzle devices. Ambidextrous controls are built in, though on something this wide the handedness matters less than it does on a rifle. The bag it ships in is basic, but it's something.
Before you buy. This is Canada non-compliant — it cannot be shipped to or shipped within Canada. It's also very loud. If you're playing at a field with noise-sensitive neighbors, check with the field first. The gun is heavy; expect it to feel like a real support weapon, not like an AEG you can casually shoulder. The battery is 900mAh, which gives you a few minutes of fun but isn't a capacity that's going to last a full game day of full-auto runs. The charger is included, so that's covered.
What it's for and what it isn't. This is a showpiece and a support weapon. It's for the player who wants to be the loudest person at the field, for milsim units running a designated support gun, and for anyone who's never fired a mini-gun and wants to find out. It's not for stealth, it's not for speed, and it's not for a player who wants to blend in with a standard rifle loadout. It's exactly what it looks like: a minigun in 6mm.
Includes federally mandated blaze orange muzzle tip.
