Code 11 Full Size Mag Pouch V2, Black

You need one more magazine on your chest rig, or one on your belt, and you need it to stay there when you move fast. The Code 11 Full Size Mag Pouch V2 is the single-slot answer for M4/M16 and AK pattern rifle magazines.

The pouch uses reinforced curved side inserts to hold the magazine tight. Retention that's firm enough to survive a sprint but loose enough that you can actually grab and pull the mag in one motion — which, depending on the manufacturer, is the difference between a reload and a fumble.

Mounting height is adjustable. Slide it high on your chest rig and it's within reach of your firing hand. Mount it lower on a belt and it's a deliberate reach. You decide where your hands naturally go.

There are two mounting paths. A hook and loop belt clip handles belts up to 2 inches wide, and an M-System clip snaps onto MOLLE webbing on vests, plate carriers, or rigs. You don't need to commit to one carry method.

Built from Cordura nylon at roughly a quarter pound, it's light enough that carrying two or three of them doesn't change how your gear feels, and tough enough to handle the abuse a pouch gets.

Before you buy. The "full size" label covers most standard M4/M16 and AK rifle magazines, but Code 11 publishes a compatibility list worth checking before ordering — fitting and staying put are two different things, and that chart tells you which your specific mag will do. Also, this is a single rifle-mag pouch, so it's not designed for pistol magazines, double-stacks, or drums.

The V2 update reinforced the side wall construction from the original version for better long-term retention.
