Chest rigs are supposed to be light, but they run out of mag slots faster than most players expect. The Code 11 2nd Layer MOLLE Plate adds a second row of pouch positions to an existing rig without adding a full chest rig's worth of bulk.
How it works. It is a Cordura MOLLE plate that mounts to your rig's existing MOLLE webbing. When paired with a compatible triple mag pouch — sold separately — you get three additional magazine carry positions stacked behind your primary row.
The whole plate weighs 0.24 lbs, so the bulk comes from whatever pouches you actually mount to it. Cordura throughout, green. It is designed for plate carriers and chest rigs with a flat MOLLE panel on the front — curved or heavily padded surfaces may not hold as cleanly.
What's in the box. Just the MOLLE plate. The triple mag pouch you would mount to it is a separate purchase, and any other pouches you want to carry come individually.
