Competitive Hi-Capa shooters know trigger feel isn't just about pull weight. The shoe you press matters for finger placement, reset consistency, and how cleanly you can run fast strings. The stock plastic trigger on a Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa does the job, but it's not tuned for match-level repetition.
The Type D trigger shoe from CowCow Technology is one piece of a modular system designed to let you dial in exactly what you want. You pair it with the CowCow modular trigger base (sold separately), then lock the shoe to the base with a set screw. The Type D itself has a curved face engineered for longer trigger strokes, giving you more surface area and a natural finger roll-through that reduces lateral slip during rapid fire.
What makes it different. Most aftermarket trigger shoes are one-piece replacements that force you into a single geometry. This system separates the shoe from the base, so you can swap face shapes without replacing the entire mechanism. The Type D's curve sits somewhere between a flat competitive shoe and a curved duty trigger, making it versatile for both IDPA and IPSC styles where you're running longer strokes with heavier springs.
Material and fit. Machined from 6061 aluminum, it weighs just 1 gram and resists wear from repeated contact. The silver finish matches most Hi-Capa slide treatments and won't look out of place on a competition build. It bolts directly to the CowCow modular trigger base, which installs into Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa and 1911-series frames.
Before you buy. This is not a standalone trigger. You need the CowCow modular trigger base to use it. If you're running a stock Hi-Capa trigger assembly, this won't fit. Also, this is the shoe only—the base, set screws, and installation hardware come with the base, not the shoe. Check your current trigger setup before ordering.
Includes one Type D trigger shoe in silver. Base sold separately.
