Crosman 1911 CO2 Powered 0.177 Cal Airgun, Black

Crosman has made air gun copies of several famous firearm designs, including the 1911. This air pistol fires .177 caliber BBs, distinct from the pellets. You can’t interchange ammunition.
This air gun requires 12g CO2 cartridges, which fit flush in the pistol grip. When the air runs out, you need to insert a fresh cartridge. You do so by removing a grip panel.
A 20-round magazine is provided with this air gun. Since .177 is smaller than the .45 ACP caliber, you can fit more BBs in the magazine. That’s almost three times more than the original 1911’s magazine capacity.
The manual safety catch only allows for semiauto and safe modes, just like the real weapon. However, this one is a double-action pistol instead of a single-action mechanism. You can pull the trigger without cocking the hammer first.
There’s a Picatinny rail at the bottom of the frame for accessories like combat flashlights or laser sights.
Many people don’t have enough money to afford intensive target practice, but these air gun replicas and their ammunition cost very little. There will be some differences, but using this model as a practice gun is suitable for building muscle memory.
