The P90's top-mounted mag well means you need a magazine that actually fits the platform. This DBoys hi-cap holds 280 rounds and winds up when you need more ammo without breaking the bank. It's the straightforward choice for players who want extended capacity without hunting down expensive OEM spares.
How the hi-cap works. Inside is a spring-fed drum with a winding wheel on the bottom. Turn the wheel and the follower pushes BBs up into the feed lips. You'll need to wind it before your first game and again when you run dry mid-skirmish. The trade-off is simple: you get several hundred rounds in one mag, but it rattles when you move and you have to stop and crank it between reloads.
P90 ecosystem. Unlike M4 magazines, which are effectively universal across brands, P90 mags are platform-specific. This DBoys mag fits most P90 series AEGs, but you won't find spares at every airsoft shop. If you run a P90 as your primary, keep a couple of these on hand so you're not waiting on restocks when one wears out.
Translucent pink body. The polymer housing is translucent pink, which makes it easy to spot in your gear bag and gives the P90 a distinctive look. The color doesn't affect function—it's purely aesthetic. If you're building a themed loadout or just want something that stands out from the usual black, this hits the mark.
Before you buy. Hi-cap mags are not silent. The internal rattling gives away your position when you're moving between cover. If you play milsim or prefer low-profile tactics, consider mid-caps instead. Also, this magazine ships empty—you'll need to pour in your own BBs. Battery and charger are not relevant for magazines, but you do need a funnel or speed-pourer to fill it without making a mess.
