Dr. Black Aluminum Type B Magazine Base for Hi-Capa 5.1 GBB Pistols, Red

The plastic base on a Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa magazine does two things badly: it dents when you set it down hard, and it offers no grip when you're trying to swap mags fast. The Dr. Black Type B base replaces it with CNC aluminum, so the bottom of your magazine actually survives being dropped on concrete.

What changes. The aluminum base adds a small amount of weight to the bottom of the mag, which can help with the feel during a reload. The machined edges give your thumb something to bite against when you're pulling the mag out of a pouch or your belt. It's a tactile improvement, not a capacity one.

Fit and finish. This is the Type B profile, which matches the standard Hi-Capa 5.1 magazine footprint. It threads onto the existing magazine body and seats cleanly. The red anodized finish is consistent across the part — no two-tone or mismatched hardware.

What you need. You already own the magazine. This is just the base plate. If you run multiple Hi-Capa mags, buying a few of these means you can upgrade them all without replacing the entire magazine.
