Tactical pants need to survive the same abuse as a good pair of field boots: kneeling on rough ground, crawling through brush, and taking a spill when you dive behind cover. These Emerson Gear Blue Label pants use a 50/50 cotton-nylon blend, which gives you the comfort of cotton against your skin with the tear resistance of nylon woven in.

The X-Large size provides an athletic fit. The articulation and reinforced stress points are where most tactical pants wear out first.

What you get in the box. Just the pants. No belt, no knee-pad inserts, no separate gaiters. You'll need your own belt for the heavy-duty loops.

Before you buy. Cotton-nylon blends breathe better than full synthetic tactical fabric, but they also take longer to dry if you get caught in rain or sweat through them. If you're playing in wet conditions or running hot, synthetic blends dry faster. The tan color works for dry, arid environments and blends with standard field apparel, but it is not a camouflage pattern.
