Lancer Tactical
The G-Force MICH 2000 gives you head protection without the weight penalty of cheaper tactical helmets. At 1.7 pounds, it's light enough to wear all day, and the ABS plastic shell stops direct BB hits at typical field velocities. If you've been playing without head protection or your current helmet feels like a bowling ball, this is a meaningful upgrade.
What the MICH 2000 shape means. The MICH (Modular Integrated Communications Helmet) is the U.S. military's standard issue from the early 2000s. The cut gives you better peripheral vision than a full-coverage helmet. This replica keeps that profile, so if you're building a loadout around a specific aesthetic, it fits the bill.
Fit and comfort. Inside is a cloth-lined foam padding system with an adjustable suspension. You can add or remove padding to get the right fit, and the chin strap with nape adjustment keeps it secure during movement. Most head sizes work, but if you have a larger head or wear a beanie under the helmet, try the padding adjustments before your first game.
What it protects against. This helmet is built for airsoft. The ABS shell handles direct BB hits at typical field velocities, and the padding absorbs some of the impact. It is not ballistic-rated and will not stop real firearms. For airsoft skirmish, CQB, and milsim events, it's the right level of protection for the use case.
Externals. The textured surface gives goggle straps better grip than smooth plastic, and the tan color matches common tactical gear. The helmet includes the basic suspension and chin strap; additional accessories are sold separately.
Before you buy. Helmets add weight and can get warm during long games. If you run hot or play in summer conditions, factor that in. Also note that this is a replica helmet — it's designed for airsoft, not for actual combat or law enforcement use.
