Gate's Dual Signal Wire is a two-foot length of signal wire for Gate and other compatible airsoft MOSFET units. It carries the trigger signal from the contacts to the control unit, which is what you need when you're mid-install and short on it. Two feet covers routing from the trigger contacts through the gearbox, out of the grip, and to wherever the unit sits, which is further than it looks on a stock tube install. Route it clear of moving parts and the motor, and leave a little slack at each end so it can't chafe against the shell edge.
