Why swap an outer barrel. Factory barrels on Hi Capas can be thin and light. This one adds a bit of weight forward, which steadies the aim during draw and slow-fire drills. The aluminum keeps it from turning into a dead weight. It also gives you a different finish option if the stock black doesn't match your build.

What it does not do. This is the outer barrel only. It does not change your inner barrel length, hop-up, or accuracy. If you want better grouping or a different chronograph reading, you upgrade the inner barrel and hop-up chamber separately.
