If you've shot a Tokyo Marui MWS gas blowback rifle, you know the trigger. It's a single-stage polymer unit that breaks soft with little feedback. The Guns Modify MIM firing control set replaces it with something closer to a real two-stage trigger. You get two modes: TM Mode for a stock-like feel, and Direct Mode for a crisp, distinct break. This is the upgrade you make when you've put enough rounds through the gun to notice the difference between a mushy trigger and one that tells you when it's going to fire.
What changes inside. The set swaps the factory selector plate, sear, and related internals for CNC machined steel parts. Polymer wears over time; steel does not. The two-stage Direct Mode gives you a first-stage take-up followed by a clean break. That matters more on semi-auto than you might expect - faster follow-up shots, better trigger discipline, and a more predictable reset.
Installation and fit. This is a drop-in replacement for Tokyo Marui MWS M4 and M16 GBBR platforms. All components come in the box. You do need basic gunsmithing knowledge and the right tools to split the receiver and swap the trigger group. If you have never worked on a TM GBBR's internals, budget for a tech visit or watch a teardown before you start.
What it is not. This will not change your rifle's FPS, range, or reliability in the sense of fixing air seals and hop-up. It is a trigger upgrade, period. If your MWS has other issues - gas leaks, feeding problems, hop-up inconsistencies - those need separate attention.
The set includes the steel firing control components. Installation tools and gunsmithing expertise are not included.
