HFC 193 M9 Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistol, Black

The HFC 193 is a full-metal gas blowback pistol. At 8.5 inches and 2.5 pounds, it's a substantial sidearm that works as a backup or a dedicated CQB weapon.

The full-metal frame and slide give it weight that helps manage muzzle climb during rapid fire. The blowback action cycles with each shot, pushing the slide back to simulate recoil and lock the bolt when the magazine is empty.

Velocity and field use. Rated 300 FPS on 0.20g BBs. That sits at the upper end of tight indoor CQB limits and works on outdoor fields with lower velocity caps. As with any gas pistol, cold weather will reduce output, and heavier BBs will slow the muzzle velocity while improving wind resistance and grouping. Chrono with your own BBs before your first game.

Magazine. The 26-round magazine holds its capacity. Gas blowback mags are expensive compared to AEG mid-caps, and this gun burns gas with every shot, so plan on two or three spares if you run it as a primary. The magazine also functions as the gas reservoir, so you're reloading gas and ammo together.

Before you buy. Green gas and BBs are not included. You'll need a can of green gas with silicone oil (the oil lubricates the gun's seals) and a supply of 6mm BBs. CO2 can be used but runs at higher pressure and increases wear on seals over time. This is a realistic sidearm, not a lightweight option—if you want something that packs light, look at a polymer-frame model instead.

Includes federally mandated blaze orange muzzle tip.
