The HFC Metal M9 is a no-frills indoor secondary. It's built for players who want a reliable backup that won't drain a gas cylinder mid-skirmish. Non-blowback operation means you trade slide recoil for efficiency—each magazine gets you more shots per fill, and velocity stays consistent from first round to last.
Velocity and field fit. Rated 280–300 FPS on 0.20g BBs. That clears most indoor CQB limits (typically 300–350 FPS) and keeps you legal on tight-MED fields. For outdoor skirmish running 380+ FPS caps, this won't be your primary, but it's a solid sidearm when you're already within the MED envelope.
What's under the hood. Metal slide and internal cycling parts with a polymer frame. The metal internals matter for durability—cheap NBB pistols often crack or wear out after a few hundred rounds. Fixed hop-up is simple and low-maintenance, though it means you're locked to the factory setting. If you run heavier BBs for wind resistance, you'll need to test whether the hop-up holds them properly.
Magazine and accessories. Ships with a 25-round drop-free magazine. That's realistic for training or milsim, but you'll want spares for actual games—the gun cycles fast enough to empty it in seconds. There's a Weaver/Picatinny rail under the barrel for lights or lasers. The box includes an Allen key, sample BBs, and the manual.
Before you buy. Green gas is not included. You'll also need a charger if you're running a gas regulator system, or you can buy refill cylinders. The 280–300 FPS rating is factory-tuned; real-world output varies with temperature and BB weight. Chrono your pistol before your first game.
This is a CQB secondary, not a field primary. If you need a gun for outdoor skirmish or long-range engagements, look at an AEG or a higher-velocity GBB instead.
Includes federally mandated blaze orange muzzle tip.
