A flash hider isn't about going quiet—it's about keeping your vision clear. When you fire, the expanding gases at the muzzle create a brief flash that can wash out your sight picture, especially in bright conditions or low light. The JG M5 Series flash hider tames that flash, so you stay on target for the follow-up shot.

What it is. This is a muzzle device designed for the M5 Series platform, which shares the same threading and mounting standard as M4/M16-style airsoft rifles. It screws directly onto the threaded barrel, replacing the stock muzzle cap or any existing device. The ABS Polymer construction keeps weight negligible and won't add noticeable front-end heft to your build.

Thread fit. The HK 3 Log thread pattern is a specific standard that won't mate with the more common 14mm CCW found on most M4s. If your barrel is threaded for a different pattern, you'll need an adapter or a re-cut barrel. Check your current muzzle device or measure the thread before ordering.

What it won't do. This is not a suppressor. It won't meaningfully reduce the sound of your rifle, and it's not designed to hide the muzzle flash completely—just to soften it. If you want suppression, you need a dedicated suppressor or a longer outer barrel with internal baffling.

Installation is a simple screw-on fit, but verify thread direction and pitch match your barrel before applying torque.
