Better than expected
This is our 1st airsoft rifle. Couldn't believe the accuracy and how well the full auto works. Very pleased...
JG is well known for making high quality airsoft guns for a reasonable price, and this AEG is no exception. The JG M4 SOPMOD (6617) is ready to go right out of the box. This AEG has all the features you want including a full metal RIS, rail covers, tactical 6 position crane stock, flip up sights, and a 300 round high capacity magazine. The body of the gun is made of a solid ABS plastic that is well made and will stand up to the rigors of any airsoft game. The RIS (quad rail system) allow the user to add accessories such as lasers, flashlights, or foregrips. The gun comes with rail covers which cover any unused rails. A 300 round high capacity magazine is included and the gun is compatible with all TM compatible M4 style magazines. The gearbox is fully metal with full metal gears, making this gun very durable and reliable. This is a powerful AEG. Shooting at 400-420 FPS with 0.20g BBs this gun hits hard and can put BBs far downrange at a high velocity. If you're looking for a great field ready AEG this is definitely a good choice. The hop up is adjustable for increased accuracy at greater distances. Overall, this gun performs great and can compete with many AEGs that are priced at $250+. An 8.4v battery and charger are included. For best performance we recommend using a 9.6v battery and smart charger.

This gun is very solid, has a great rate of fire and lots of power. Very pleased with the purchase.
So it's hard to rate this thing because the gun itself is decent. It shot consistent 390-405 right out of the box, and with a 9.6 nun-chuck, ROF was really fast. I'm talking outstanding. My issue was the front rail and barrel assembly were terribly loose. So mush so that I could aim the barrel up and don almost an inch without moving the receiver. I tightened the star nut (whatever it is really called) and still flexed about a 1/2". The stock is VERY loose on the buffer tube as well. Fixable, but when you buy a new rifle, you don't expect to have to fix stuff on it right away. If they would have spent a little more time on some of the exterior, this thing would have been a homerun, but they missed the mark. I you have the money to spend and get a better stock, outer barrel and new rail, then this is the gun for you! in not, get something else.
