The KP11 is KJW's take on a compact GBB sidearm that doesn't compromise on the manual of arms. At 220mm overall length with a full-metal slide and outer barrel over a polymer frame, it hits a practical balance between realism and carry weight. This is what you want as a primary for CQB fields running tight FPS limits, or as a reliable backup when your primary runs dry. The CO2 power source gives you consistent cycling even in colder weather where green gas pistols start to falter, but it comes with the usual trade-off: more wear on seals and gas consumption that adds up over a long day.

How the CO2 system works. The magazine houses standard 12g CO2 cartridges rather than a green gas reservoir. That higher pressure drives the blowback cycle harder and more consistently, which is why CO2 GBBs maintain their velocity and slide action when the temperature drops. It also means you're swapping cartridges between mags or during reloads rather than refilling a single gas tank. Each cartridge delivers roughly 60–80 shots depending on ambient temperature and your trigger discipline.

Velocity and field fit. Rated 360–370 FPS on 0.20g BBs. That clears most indoor CQB caps comfortably and sits right at the edge of outdoor sidearm limits. Many fields run 350 FPS for pistols, so you'll want to chrono before your first game—CO2 output shifts with temperature, and a hot day can push you over a tight limit. This is a CQB and backup role gun, not a primary for open fields. If you need a sidearm that trades shots at distance, a DMR or dedicated field pistol is the better choice.

Externals and handling. The metal slide and outer barrel add heft compared to all-polymer GBBs, which helps with recoil impulse and realism. The polymer frame carries non-slip texturing on the grip. The trigger safety is integrated into the trigger itself—standard GBB design, so you need a deliberate pull to engage.

Magazines and compatibility. Ships with one 28-round CO2 magazine. The internals follow Tokyo Marui GBB specifications, so aftermarket parts and spare mags are widely available. That's a meaningful advantage over proprietary platforms: you're not locked into KJW for spares. Given the 28-round capacity and the faster follow-up shots CO2 enables, plan on picking up two or three extra mags. The magazine model number is KJW-KP11-CO2-MAG.

What to know before you buy. CO2 is harder on seals than green gas, so regular silicone oil maintenance is non-negotiable. Lubricate the magazine and hop-up chamber every few hundred rounds to prevent leaks and maintain consistent cycling. The metal slide adds weight, which some players appreciate for realism and others find tiring during long CQB matches. Battery and charger are not included—this is a gas pistol, so you'll need CO2 cartridges, BBs, and silicone oil to keep it running.
