Code 11 Gear KZ Tactical Plate Carrier, Ranger Green

Plate carriers take a fair amount of abuse in airsoft — scrapes against concrete barriers, mud, gas, and the general wear of running a full loadout day after day. The KZ Carrier by Code 11 Gear is built for that. It's a straightforward, no-fuss carrier cut from Cordura fabric, which means it holds up to repeated contact without wearing through.

Fit and plate size. This carrier holds 10×12 inch medium SAPI plates, which is the most common size for outdoor skirmish play. The plate pocket is roughly 43 by 32 centimeters with about six centimeters of depth. Plates aren't included — this is a carrier, not a full armor set — but it fits a wide range of aftermarket options from most major manufacturers, so you won't be locked into a single brand.

Quick release. There's an external quick-release strap you pull to take the vest off in one motion. This is genuinely useful. If you're pinned, need medical attention, or the carrier rides up and makes breathing uncomfortable, a few seconds matters more than you'd think.

Loadout mounting. Front and back panels are designed for external pouches. You can add buckle or G-buckle mag pouches, admin pouches, medical kits, and similar gear using the attachment points. This is a modular platform, not a fully kitted-out vest. Start with a few mag pouches and work from there.

Comfort features. The interior is lined with breathable mesh, which keeps heat down on warm game days and cuts the sweat buildup that comes from wearing a load-bearing vest under a jacket or hoodie. Shoulder straps are padded, and the side panels are adjustable so the carrier settles to your frame without riding up during movement.

Before you buy. Plates are sold separately. Make sure the plates you choose are rated for your field's energy limits — many fields require plates to meet a minimum joule threshold. This carrier only provides the shell, not the protection itself. At 1.6 pounds for the empty carrier, it sits in the "I forget it's on my chest" range for most players.
