1000D nylon is thick and heavy-duty — enough to take stock recoil, concrete drops, and whatever else you throw at it. You'll carry more weight than with a lighter pack, but it'll outlast something made from thinner material.
This is genuinely small at 15 inches in length. It handles a standard 2L hydration bladder, but it's not meant as a primary carrier. Think of it as a supplementary bag — for light-runners who want room to stash mags and gear, or as a backup hauler tucked inside a larger bag on event day. If you need to carry a full loadout solo, look at a proper assault pack or plate carrier with admin pouches.
