29 inches is the limiting spec. This is a short bag. If your rifle is a PDW, a short-barrel AR, or a folding-stock AEG collapsed to length, 29 inches might work. A standard-length M4 with a fixed barrel will not fit comfortably and likely won't at all. Check your rifle's overall length before you commit.
