Most youth players start with the wrong vest: an adult cut that hangs off their shoulders, straps that won't tighten enough, and a loadout that feels like wearing a backpack. This Lancer Tactical vest is cut for smaller frames, so the gear actually stays where you put it.

What you're getting. The vest is built from 1000D nylon, the same material used on field-grade plate carriers. It's not going to rip during a game, and it'll take the abuse of being stuffed into a vehicle or tossed in a gear bag. The MOLLE webbing runs across the front and sides, so you can add pouches, admin panels, or a hydration bladder later. You're not locked into the stock setup.

The battle belt is the same 1000D construction and attaches to the vest's cummerbund area. That keeps your magazine pouches and admin gear from sliding around when you run. It's sized for youth waist sizes, and both the shoulder straps and belt are adjustable, so there's room to grow as the player does.

What fits in a youth vest. You're looking at roughly 10–15 lbs of gear before you start feeling the load. That's enough for two or three magazines, a small admin pouch, and maybe a hydration bladder. If you're planning a full-tactical loadout with eight mags, multiple grenades, and a radio, this isn't the platform. It's designed for skirmish play, training drills, and getting younger players into the sport without overburdening them.

Before you buy. This is a youth cut. If the player is close to adult size or already competing with the older team, measure chest circumference and consider the next size up. The adjustable straps help, but there's a limit to how much a small vest can stretch. Also note: this is a plate carrier-style vest, not a padded hunting vest. It's meant for airsoft gear, not heavy external loads.
