18,500 rounds of 6mm tracer BBs in one bucket. Lancer Tactical's Streamline line is competition-grade, which really means they've been cut to tight tolerances so your feed is consistent and your tracers actually light up at the end of the mag instead of dying at round 50.

The weight matters. These are 0.25g, the heaviest tracer weight you'll commonly find. That mass holds its line better in wind and gives slightly more effective range than the lighter 0.20g tracers — but it's also heavy enough that a field running a 300 FPS indoor cap will stay inside it, so you don't lose chrono on every shot. If your outdoor field is at 400 FPS on 0.20g, .25g will read lower there anyway, so the chrono conversation is shorter rather than nonexistent.

Tracer behaviour. The green tip glows on contact with the barrel rifling — it's not a chem-stick, it's a phosphorus-style tracer. That means it needs velocity to ignite. In a low-power CQB gun or a very worn inner barrel, you may only get a few rounds to light before the effect fades mid-mag. A healthy field gun typically gives 30-40 tracers before the glow dies, depending on barrel condition. Pair it with a tracer unit for continuous effect, or just use them on their own for occasional glow shots at night games.

Consistency you'll notice. The .25g weight is where accuracy matters most. Lighter BBs are easier to batch-out-of-tolerance on without anyone noticing — the variation doesn't show up as dramatically in grouping. At 0.25g, out-of-spec rounds make themselves known, so competition-grade stamping actually means something. You'll get tighter groupings than budget tracers, and the feed will be smoother because the weight deviation across the batch is small.

Practical stuff. 18,500 rounds covers a lot of night games. The green glow-in-the-dark coloration works best with a tracer unit — without one, they're still regular BBs, just with a slightly green-tinted appearance when held up to light. They'll work in any standard 6mm AEG, GBB, or spring gun. No adapters needed. Store them in a dry place between games — humidity is the real enemy of tracer BBs, and the phosphorus coating on the tip can degrade if they're left sitting in a hot car for months.
