0.28g BBs sit in a useful middle spot. Light enough for most field rifles to shoot without topping out the velocity cap, heavy enough to hold their line when an outdoor wind picks up. If you run AEGs and play on a field that doesn't let you dial up to max FPS, 0.28g lets you trade a bit of raw speed for wind resistance and shot-to-shot consistency.

These are Lancer Tactical's outdoor grade — 6mm seamless plastic, 600 rounds per bag. The seamless construction matters: it keeps the weight uniform from BB to BB, which is what actually governs flight path more than anything else. You get tight groupings on the chrono and on the field, fewer jams, and smoother feeding through your gun's hop-up. The white color is a standard factory finish, not a special coating.
