A bump helmet protects your head without the weight, heat, and field-of-view block of a full steel helmet. The Advanced PJ Type from Lancer Tactical is one of the lower-profile options — rounded crown, minimal brim, light enough that you forget you're wearing it until someone asks what you hit them with.
What it covers. This is your skull and forehead. It won't stop a direct hit to the face or ears, and it's not a substitute for full-face protection, but it takes the edge off the stray shot to the crown that makes you rethink playing unheaded. You strap it down with the built-in elastic band, and a standard chin strap keeps it planted if you're sliding, vaulting, or running through tight lanes.
Kryptek Highlander. The outer shell carries Highlander's pattern of muted tans, greens, and greys in a high-contrast organic layout that breaks up the helmet's outline in natural terrain. It's a real camouflage pattern, not just a paint job — useful if you're playing in fields with brush, dry grass, and wooded areas, and you'd rather not announce your position by wearing a plain black or OD green shell.
Weight and heat. Without metal, this helmet stays light, and the open design vents far better than a full helmet. You'll notice the difference in a long day of play, especially outdoors in the sun. If you wear a balaclava or head net underneath, the bump shell sits on top of it rather than fighting for space.
What it's not. This is a bump helmet, not a full helmet. There's no face shield integration, no ear protection, and no hard hat shell to stop a direct hit at close range. If your field requires full-face protection under a helmet, this goes on top of that as an add-on rather than a replacement.
Includes the helmet only, no face shield or accessories.
