Lancer Tactical's CNC-machined cylinder head replaces the stock piece inside a Version 2 gearbox, the standard shell for most M4 and M16 AEGs. It is made from aluminum, which handles the heat of rapid firing better than polymer and stands up to repeated impact from the piston. The head ensures the air seal between the cylinder and piston, and its face angle determines how the sector gear meets the piston teeth for consistent cycling. This red short-type cylinder head is a direct replacement for V2 shells.
