What you need. The shell is the consumable. You still need a 40mm launcher to fire it from — any standard model works. And you will go through shells. Plan on carrying three to five per game so you are not stuck with an empty tube after the first throw.

The orange marking. The bright orange color band on the aluminum body identifies this as an airsoft round at a glance, which is standard safety protocol at most fields. Check with your field before you play, though — not all of them allow gas grenades, and the ones that do typically require MED calls around the detonation zone.
