If gas leaks out through your gas block, you'll figure that out pretty quickly. The gas block sits on top of the inner barrel and routes gas into the piston chamber. No gas block, no cycle.

Why low profile. A low-profile gas block clears the full-length top rails on modern M4 handguards, so the gas tube runs flush under an optic or red dot. Tall gas blocks have been known to shift sight zero. This doesn't.

Material and fit. Metal beats injection-molded polymer for toughness, and it holds its gas port alignment under a clamp without deforming. It mounts to standard M4/M16 pattern barrels using the usual clamp screw and sets the gas tube length for whatever setup you're building.

Before you buy. Gas tube is not included. You'll need one that matches your barrel length and handguard clearance. Fits any M4 or M16 pattern gas system with a universal gas port. Throw some threadlocker on the clamp screw if you're swapping plastic for metal — takes fifteen seconds.
