Accuracy on an AEG is a hop-up story, not an FPS story. This hop-up chamber upgrade is built for Lancer Tactical's M4 Series rifles — the ones running a Version 2 gearbox — and it replaces the chamber assembly that does the one thing that actually determines whether your shots group at range: applying backspin to the BB.

Why the chamber matters. Most V2 M4 platforms use a rotary hop-up system, where a dial on top of the receiver applies even, repeatable pressure through the nozzle onto the bucking. That's a meaningful step up from lever-and-wheel designs for shot-to-shot consistency. The bucking is the rubber sleeve inside that grips the BB and imparts the spin, and matching its hardness to your BB weight is the most important tuning step you'll make.

Softer buckings grip lighter BBs well but wear faster. Harder buckings hold up against heavier rounds and higher velocity. A 0.20g BB outdoors will over-hop and under-hop at different settings than a 0.32g, so re-tuning when you change weight is part of the process, not a workaround. The nub inside the bucking determines contact patch — cylindrical nubs are the factory standard, while aftermarket H-nubs and flat nubs spread the grip front-to-back and send shots straighter.

Air seal is the hidden variable. The nozzle has to seal cleanly against the bucking lips every cycle. A bucking that seals poorly shows up as erratic velocity, and players usually blame the hop adjustment for it when the real issue is the seal. Fresh chamber parts restore that seal, which is often the difference between a gun that groups and one that doesn't.
