Lancer Tactical's CA-542 is a high-torque gear set for Version 2 and Version 3 AEG gearboxes, replacing the sector, spur and bevel gears as a matched train. Torque gears are for guns running heavier springs: they give the motor more mechanical advantage, so it completes each cycle reliably under load instead of drawing extra current and running hot. What you give up is rate of fire, which is the trade at the heart of any gear ratio, and gears cut to mesh within their own set are best installed together. Pair them with a torque motor, and take the shimming seriously, because a fresh set of gears on a poor shim stack won't outlast the ones they replaced.
