The Lancer Tactical Gen 2 M4 Evo is a field gun that doesn't fight itself on the way to the range. Built on a nylon polymer frame with a metal barrel assembly, it's heavy enough to feel solid without being a workout to carry. The Version 2 gearbox is the most supported shell in airsoft, so when you're ready to swap springs, pistons, or gears, parts come off the shelf rather than on a special order.

Velocity you can work with. Rated 370–390 FPS on 0.20g BBs. That sits comfortably inside the outdoor field cap at 380 to 400 for most skirmish lines and inside the typical 350 FPS indoor limit when you dial it down. A quick spring swap or an adjustment through the hop-up keeps this gun from being a two-field compromise. Chrono with your own BBs before your first game — ambient temperature and BB weight move the number enough that it matters.

Internals that punch above the price. Full metal Version 2 gearbox, adjustable hop-up, and a metal outer barrel for consistent air seal. The included 300-round hi-cap mag is the standard M4/M16 AEG pattern, which means spares are universal, cheap, and available anywhere. It's the kind of magazine that rattles on a long milsim day but makes sense as a starting point if you're still learning how fast you burn gas.

Externals. The frame is fiber-reinforced nylon polymer with a metal barrel, keeping weight in check while the metal components take the wear. The M4-profile handguard accepts Picatinny rails on top and through accessory slots. Overall length runs from 31 inches with the stock fully retracted to 34.4 inches extended. The adjustable hop-up is a lever-and-wheel design, which is the traditional setup — it works, and for the price tier it's a meaningful step above nothing. The 14mm CCW threaded barrel accepts standard muzzle devices and mock suppressors.
