Every gearbox rebuild eventually runs into this problem: the body pin is worn, stripped, or simply lost somewhere in a parts tray. The Lancer Tactical Gen 3 M4 AEG Gearbox Body Pin Receiver screw is the OEM replacement. It's a small item with a big consequence if it's missing — without it, the gearbox body can shift inside the receiver, which destroys timing and air seal.

This is specific to the Gen 3 platform. Earlier Gen 2 receivers use a different pin design, so don't assume it's universal across the line.
