The Lancer Tactical GEN3 Combat Shirt solves that by putting a breathable mesh sleeve on a cotton-poly body, so your torso stays dry and your shoulders can actually breathe under gear.

The fabric. The torso is 35% cotton and 65% polyester — a blend that's soft enough to wear next to skin for a full day on the field, durable enough to survive repeated washing, and light enough that you won't notice it when you're moving. The sleeves are a ventilated mesh, which is the whole point of the thing: maximum airflow where a harness, plate carrier, or rucksack would otherwise trap sweat against your skin.

MAD color. MAD is Lancer Tactical's dark, muted green — darker than OD Green, lighter than black, and the color the line is best known for. It photographs well for milsim work, blends into most outdoor settings without disappearing, and doesn't scream for attention the way some brighter colorways do. It's just a good field color.

Fit. This is a combat shirt, so it's designed to layer. The cut is relaxed enough to go under a plate carrier or tactical vest without pulling at the shoulders, and the mesh sleeves give you extra room where a harness sits tightest. Run it XS if that's your usual shirt size — don't size up just because it's meant to go under gear. It already is.

What it's for. Hot-weather skirmishing, long milsim events where you're wearing load-bearing gear, or anything where you'd normally sweat through two layers before your first game. It's a practical piece of kit, not a fashion statement, and that's the point.

What it's not for. Cold-weather warmth — the mesh sleeves trade warmth for airflow, so you'll need a base layer or jacket when the temperature drops. It's also not a substitute for body armor or a harness; it's what goes underneath them.
