Lancer Tactical 12 Gram CO2 Cartridges with Silicone Oil, Pack of 50

12-gram CO2 cartridges are the standard consumable for gas-powered airsoft. You buy them by the box, you put them in your gun, and the cycle repeats. Lancer Tactical's version is a 50-pack, so the question is only how often you play.

Each cartridge is a metal alloy shell pre-filled with CO2 gas and a small dose of silicone oil. The oil is the detail worth noting: it runs through your gun's valve and seals every time you fire, lubricating O-rings and reducing wear. Gas-only cartridges exist, but they put more strain on the seals, so the oil in these is practical rather than a marketing flourish. The metal casing also matters — it holds pressure consistently and seats cleanly in the cartridge chamber without the deformation that cheaper stamped shells can develop over time.

12g CO2 is the universal size for CO2 pistols and many CO2 rifles (Hi-Capas, GBBRs, AEPs, and similar platforms). If your gun takes a 12-gram cartridge, these go right in. You can find them at sporting goods stores and airsoft shops alike, so the ecosystem isn't a problem — but stocking up when they're on sale still saves money.

CO2 output is temperature-sensitive. A gun that shoots solid at room temperature will lose velocity and consistency in cold weather, and you'll go through cartridges faster as the gun wastes gas trying to seal. That's physics, not a defect, and it applies to every CO2 gun. If you play outdoors in anything approaching winter, plan on more boxes and a warmer pocket.

Not an airsoft gun. Not a part. Just gas and oil in a metal shell.
