Lancer Tactical's 16:1 High Speed Steel Gear Set replaces the sector, spur and bevel gears in a standard Version 2 or Version 3 gearbox. It's a speed set. A 16:1 ratio finishes each cycle sooner than a stock 18:1 set, so rate of fire climbs and semi-auto feels sharper, but you give up torque, which makes it a match for light to moderate springs. The gears are steel, so they resist stripping under load better than plastic or composite sets. The package includes the bevel, spur and sector gears. It fits most M4, AK and similar AEG platforms that use the common V2 or V3 shell designs.
