Lancer Tactical IBH Helmet, Tan

IBH stands for "internal ballistic helmet" — a lightweight shell you wear inside your full-face mask rather than as a standalone helmet. This is the Lancer Tactical take on that idea: a simple, no-nonsense head protector for players who want a bit more than the mask's foam alone.

What it does. It covers the top and sides of your head, taking impacts that would otherwise hit your mask's crown. For regular skirmish play it handles stray shots and the occasional brush against obstacles. It's not rated for sniper-level hits, and a bolt-action round at close range will go right through it — but that's true of pretty much every plastic shell at this price. The mask itself is still what stops the shot; the IBH adds coverage the mask doesn't reach.

Fit. As an IBH it sits inside your mask, so try it on with the mask you plan to run. Most standard-issue masks clear it fine, but if you wear hearing protection or a thick balaclava underneath, you'll feel the difference. The Tan finish matches most milsim-loadout palettes without calling attention to itself.

Before you buy. This is the helmet shell only — no mask, no hearing protection, no mount. If you don't already have an internal helmet, budget for the mask it's meant to live in.
