Quick target acquisition without the weight or profile of a full-sized optic. The Lancer Tactical Micro Red Dot Sight sits low on your rail at 70mm long and 0.31 lbs, so it adds capability without dragging down the front end of your rifle or pistol.
Why micro. Standard red dots work great when you have the rail space. When you're running a short-barrelled build or a compact carbine, every inch of forend matters for hand stops and accessory real estate. A micro red dot gives you the fast aiming point without eating up rail or moving your balance point forward.
The riser mount. Included is a raised base plate that sits the optic above your iron sights rather than in front of them. That lets you keep your factory irons as a backup — if the battery runs flat or you want to switch to irons for range preference, you don't need a second mount. Flat mounts sit lower and are fine if you don't carry irons, but the riser approach covers more use cases. Installation uses the included Allen tool, and everything is covered by a standard Picatinny interface.
What's in the box. Optic, riser base plate, Allen tool, battery, and manual. It's ready to mount out of the package — no separate battery or tool hunt.
Aluminum housing. The body is aluminum, which keeps weight down and adds rigidity against the rail. At 0.31 lbs, it's one of the lighter way to get a red dot on your setup.
Know before you buy. Red dots vary in reticle style — some are simple dots, some add circles or crosshairs — and the right choice depends on your shooting preference. Check the manual for reticle details and adjustment procedure. This is an optic — it doesn't change velocity, accuracy, or effective range. It changes how fast you can put your aiming point on target.
